Frequently Asked Questions

Does AGP keep any rights?

When it comes to mixing and mastering, absolutely not.

For production, it’s dependent on the project. But splits are always in the artists favor, and up for discussion when signing the contract

How does payment work?

All mixing, and added mastering has a 50% deposit is due when the contract is signed, and before any work begins. Final payment is due when receiving the completed song. Before revisions.

Production deposits have a 20% down payment at contract signing, and the remaining payment will be broken into 2-4 payments over the project life.

How do I send you my music for mixing?

When we send the contract, there will also be a stem guideline. All tracks should be bounced individually in a folder (extra points for naming them). All volume should be set at unity (0) and all extra effects turned off (reverb, compression, eq etc.) unless sound dependent.

An added text document with Bpm and Key is super helpful, and any extra notes you want special attention paid to.

What gear do you use

Ah the age old question! We use Mackie Hr8 24 Mk1s in our main studio, with access to Yamahas and Rockit’s in studios available to us. We are big Ableton fans, but have level 4 certifications in Protools through avid and experience in Logic Pro. Everything Is run through UAD.

Our plugin list is too long to share here, but some highlights are

Mixwave, Neural DSP, Omnisphere, Fab Filter, Soundtoys, and Waves
