Michael Dupon started Audio Grave when he moved back to Colorado from LA, he wanted to use the industry knowledge and sound expertise he gained from his years in bands and school.

He loves everything to do with the early 2000s Emo and Pop Punk scene, I guess you could call him an “elder emo”.

Michael grew up playing piano and guitar, at age 8 he started performing in children’s choirs and moved into playing in a jazz band in high school. He loved classical and musicals, (what a nerd) and would spend hours watching orchestra concerts. All of which culminated in winning a regional songwriting competition, and sent him to perform at a national convention in Orlando.

Later on he would play in post hardcore bands, easy core, and even just solo acoustic stuff. He studied with Berklee and Musicians institute, got to experience some big time studios in LA. Even made his national sync debut in a duo edm project on CBS.

Since then he’s worked with countless bands and artists, from solo pop/indie projects and pop punk bands to producing at sync camps for Assemble Sound out of Detroit.

Our passion here stems from a never quit mentality. A strive for excellent music, and a hunger to always learn more.
